Pillars for Girls

Our Interventions are anchored on five interconnected pillars that promote lasting change for girls and their communities: Access to Quality Education ensures that every girl from pastoralist and marginalised communities can learn and transition through all levels of education. The Protection from Harm seeks to eliminate harmful practices like female genital mutilation (FGM), beading, and child marriage by involving parents, elders, and youth in safeguarding girls’ rights. Voice and Agency fosters girls’ leadership, confidence, and participation in decision-making. Sustainability, fostering environmental stewardship and community resilience, ensuring lasting support for girls’ education and protection. The “Let Girls Be Girls” promotes girls’ well-being by focusing on menstrual health, self-esteem, and access to reproductive health information, ensuring every girl can thrive with dignity.
